And, to forestall the inevitable next question, there are not likely to be any Garcia shows.
Jerry's estate (not the Grateful Dead) owns the rights to those shows, and keeps a fairly tight rein on them.

Admins: How about a big flashing logo on the front page that says, "Click here *before* you ask about the Jerry Garcia Band"?
Clearly the FAQ ain't getting it done, since people still post looking for Jerry shows at least twice a week.
They don't even scroll down the list of messages to see the previous Jerry Band thread, which is usually still visible.

It's not Flashing or 48 font size, but when you post a new topic you see this (Jon added it a couple months ago):

"Please search the FAQs and forums using the box at the top of this page before posting questions in the event that your question has already been asked and answered in the past."

That's the best we can do. Aside from that, we roll with the punches and answer the questions when they arise by pointing folks to those FAQ's.

Thanks for the info. I did take a look at the other posts, but I must have missed it. Perhaps put Jerry Garcia in the roster/list and put a "0" next to it so people know there are no Jerry Garcia shows. Probably a programming issue with the list of bands and I am sure it has been covered here.

Thanks for the welcome. I am having a ball.
